Section-A
1. (a) Describe the all properties of Boolean Algebra with an example.
  (b) What do you understand by POS and SOP ? Explain it with an example.
2. (a) Explain the don't care condition with an example.
  (b) Simplify the following expression by K-map method:

Section-B
3. (a) Draw and write the truth table of full adder.
  (b) Describe the Half subtractor with an example.
4. (a) Design and explain the binary parallel addel adder with an example.
  (b) Differentiate between Decoders and Multiplexers.
Section-C
5. (a) Describe in detail, combinational and sequential logic circuit.
 (b) What do you mean by Flip-Flop ? Write the characteristics table of R-S flip-flop.
6. (a) Differentiate between R-S and J-K flip-flops.
  (b) Explain the analysis of clocked sequential circuits.
Section-D
7. (a) Design the 4×1 multiplexer by using logic gates.
  (b) Differentiate between Ripple counters and synchronous counters.
8. (a) What do you understand by micro operation ? Describe the arithmetic micro operation.

  (b) Describe the memory unit in detail.
Section-E
9. (a) Explain the arithmetic shifts with an example.
  (b) Describe the floating and non-floating data.
10. Explain any two of the following:

(i) Binary Data
(ii) Comparators
(iii) Counters
(iv) Overflow
