1. (a) What are the features of GUI? Explain.

(b) Explain the procedure for designing graphical user interface in detail.2,3

2. (a) How to create command buttons? Explain its method.

(b) Write the procedure for creating image related controls. $3\tfrac{1}{2}$ , $3\tfrac{1}{2}$

3. (a) How to create a form? What is MDI? $3\tfrac{1}{2}$

(b) Explain the following:

(i) radio button

(ii) combo-box $3\tfrac{1}{2}$

4. (a) What is the process of database connectivity in VB?

(b) Write the process of creating building classes. $3\tfrac{1}{2}$ , $3\tfrac{1}{2}$

5. (a) Considering any example create and explain the structure of a VB-program.

(b) How text box is different from rich-text box. $3\tfrac{1}{2}$ , $3\tfrac{1}{2}$

6. (a) Visual basic is compiled language or interpreted language. Justify your answer. $3\tfrac{1}{2}$

(b) Explain the terms:

(i) ADODB

(ii) ODBC $3\tfrac{1}{2}$

7. (a) How list box is different from combo-box? What is Active X?

(b) Write a small code in VB for displaying an array consisting 10-elements. $3\tfrac{1}{2}$ , $3\tfrac{1}{2}$

8. Write in brief on about any three of the following :

Object oriented programming
Static variable
ADO
Active X controls2,2,2
